Community Work

One of the main focuses of Studija is to build close relationships with the local community, including non-profit organisations, creative initiatives, small businesses, and activists. Collaborations have already been established with entrepreneurs and craftspeople from the Kaļķu Street Quarter, such as the metal artist Uģis Kepšs, the restaurant KOPA, and Raitums.

Future plans are being developed in collaboration with the Courland Cultural Heritage Centre "Kūrava", which promotes folklore and intangible cultural heritage and actively contributes to local storytelling.

As part of the educational programme, Studija maintains an active partnership with the Kuldīga Art School, offering artists in residence the opportunity to work with emerging young artists and introduce them to contemporary art and modern materials.
